Closed joint-stock "Insurance company "TAS" is the legal successor of the Insurance company "Pryvatpolys", which was registered on May 6, 2000 and obtained License of Ministry of Finance of Ukraine No. 4 of 20.07.2000 for insurance activity in the form of voluntary life-insurance.

On April 24, 2001 the company was re-registered with the new name, and on May, 29 2001 the Joint-stock company “IC"TAS" obtained a new License of Ministry of Finance of Ukraine series of AA No. 011429 for insurance activity in the form of voluntary life-insurance.

On July 18, 2003 the JSC “Insurance company “TAS” obtained License Series AA No. 520052 for insurance activity in the form of voluntary life-insurance with unlimited term from State Committee for Regulation of Financial Services Markets of Ukraine. The license was issued in accordance with article 38 of the Law of Ukraine “On Insurance”. The new license is effective from 19.07.2003.
